Beginning Handling Skills
This introductory handling class will focus on the main handling techniques necessary to navigate a starters course. Each week we will focus on one handling technique and provide homework exercises to solidify your understanding. We will also use short sequences to aid the handler’s understanding of when to use various techniques. Instructors: Julie Neer and Deirdre Luttrell
Prerequisites: Dog must have completed Intro to Agility I and II, and can safely navigate all the equipment except weave poles (or consent of the instructor). Priority will be given to students just completing the Intro series.
